Lady Antonia Fraser (born August 27, 1932, in London) is a British author renowned for her historical biographies such as Mary, Queen of Scots (1969), which won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize, The Six Wives of Henry VIII (1992), and Marie Antoinette: The Journey (2001), as well as her Jemima Shore detective fiction series; she has received major awards including the Wolfson History Prize for The Weaker Vessel (1984), CBE (1999), DBE (2011), and CH (2018) for services to literature.
