David Rousset (1912–1997) was a French writer and political activist, renowned for his accounts of surviving Nazi concentration camps including Buchenwald and Neuengamme, with his seminal work L'Univers concentrationnaire (The Concentration Universe) earning the prestigious Prix Renaudot in 1946.
