Elizabeth FrankAmerican
Elizabeth Frank (born 1945) is an American author renowned for her Pulitzer Prize-winning biography Louise Bogan: A Portrait (1985), along with notable works such as the novel Cheat and Charmer (2004), art books Jackson Pollock (1983) and Esteban Vicente (1995), and translations of Bulgarian novels including Farewell, Shanghai (2007). A professor of modern languages and literature at Bard College since 1982, she has also contributed extensively to literary and art criticism in publications like The New York Times Book Review and Art in America.
