L'Égal à Dieu

Alain Absire (born March 17, 1950, in Rouen, France) is a French novelist, short story writer, and former playwright who won the prestigious Prix Femina in 1987 for his novel L'Égal de Dieu (God's Equal), one of his most notable works alongside Vasile Evanescu, l'homme à tête d'oiseau (Prix Libre 1984) and others like Lazare ou le grand sommeil.
