Les Ombres errantes

Pascal Quignard (born April 23, 1948, in Verneuil-sur-Avre, France) is a prolific French writer renowned for his novels, essays, and the Petits traités series, with notable works including Tous les matins du monde (adapted into a successful 1991 film) and Les Ombres errantes. He has received major awards such as the 2002 Prix Goncourt for Les Ombres errantes, the 2000 Grand Prix du roman de l'Académie française for Terrasse à Rome, and the 2023 Prix Formentor for his body of work.
