Roger BordierFrench
Roger Bordier (1923-2015) was a French writer, journalist, art critic, and professor born in Blois, France. He began as a journalist in Blois and Paris, became an art critic for Art d'aujourd'hui, published poetry collections with Seghers, and gained prominence with his novels, winning the 1961 Prix Renaudot for Les Blés. Later, he taught history of modern art and sociology of aesthetics at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs and continued publishing novels and essays on aesthetics. Read more →
