Robert MargeritFrench
Robert Margerit (1910–1988) was a French journalist and novelist born in Brive-la-Gaillarde. He began his career as a journalist in Limoges in 1931 and later served as editor of Le Populaire du Centre from 1948. Notable works include Le Dieu nu (Prix Renaudot 1951) and the historical epic La Révolution (Grand Prix du roman de l'Académie française 1963), with several adapted into films. Read more →
