L'Amour de rien

Jacques Perry (1921-2016) was a prolific French novelist born in Neuilly-sur-Seine near Paris. He won the prestigious Prix Renaudot in 1952 for his debut novel L'Amour de rien, along with other major awards including the Prix des Libraires (1966) for Vie d'un païen and Prix du Livre Inter (1976) for Le Ravenala ou l'Arbre du voyageur.
