Albie Sachs (born 1935) is a South African author, anti-apartheid activist, lawyer, and former Constitutional Court justice whose notable works include The Jail Diary of Albie Sachs (1966), Justice in South Africa (1973), and The Soft Vengeance of a Freedom Fighter (1990), chronicling his imprisonment, legal struggles, and recovery from a car bomb attack.
