Rodney Hall is an Australian author born in 1935 in England who immigrated to Australia as a child after World War II. He began his career as a freelance writer, actor, and poetry editor for The Australian, publishing poetry in the 1970s and over a dozen novels thereafter, including the Miles Franklin Award-winning Just Relations (1982) and The Grisly Wife (1994).
