Tyler DennettAmerican
Tyler Dennett (1883–1949) was an American historian, educator, and author born in Spencer, Wisconsin. He earned degrees from Williams College, Union Theological Seminary, and Johns Hopkins University, and held positions including professor at Princeton University and president of Williams College (1934–1937). His notable works include Americans in Eastern Asia (1922) and the Pulitzer Prize-winning biography John Hay: From Poetry to Politics (1933) Library of Congress.
