Huey Long

Thomas Harry Williams (1909-1979) was an American historian specializing in the Civil War and American political figures, teaching most of his career at Louisiana State University as Boyd Professor of History from 1953 until his retirement. His notable works include Huey Long (1969), which won the Pulitzer Prize for Biography and the National Book Award, as well as Lincoln and His Generals (1952) and P.G.T.
