Terese Marie Mailhot (born 1983) is a First Nations Canadian writer and memoirist of Nlaka'pamux descent who grew up on the Seabird Island Indian Reservation in British Columbia. She is best known for her debut memoir Heart Berries (2018), a New York Times bestseller that explores trauma, mental illness, and Indigenous experience, earning accolades including a Whiting Award and a Governor General's Literary Award finalist nomination.
