Harvey Angell

Diana Lois Hendry (born October 2, 1941, in the Wirral, England) is an English poet, children's author, and short story writer who has published over 40 books for children, including the Whitbread Award-winning Harvey Angell (1991) and The Seeing (2012), shortlisted for the Costa Book Award. Library. She has also garnered numerous poetry prizes, such as first prize in the 1996 Housman Society Competition, and fellowships including the Robert Louis Stevenson Fellowship in 2007.
