Geoffrey O'Brien (born 1948) is an American poet, critic, editor, and cultural historian best known for his works on film, music, crime fiction, and cultural history. He served as editor-in-chief of the Library of America from 1998 until 2017 and has contributed extensively to publications like the New York Review of Books.
