Pat Cadigan (born September 10, 1953) is a British-American science fiction author known as the "Queen of Cyberpunk," with notable works including the novels Synners (1991) and Fools (1995), both Arthur C. Clarke Award winners, and the Hugo Award-winning novelette "The Girl-Thing Who Went Out for Sushi" (2013). She explores themes of human mind and technology, emigrated from the US to London in 1996, and became a UK citizen in 2014.
