Fences

August Wilson (1945–2005) was an American playwright best known for his Pittsburgh Cycle of 10 plays chronicling 20th-century African-American life. He won Pulitzer Prizes for Drama for Fences (1987) and The Piano Lesson (1990), along with numerous other awards including Tony Awards. Encyclopædia
