About This Book
A marriage seen twice: first through the eyes of Lotto, a charismatic former actor turned celebrated playwright, whose life seems charmed; then through the eyes of his wife Mathilde, who sees a different marriage entirely. A formally brilliant diptych about love, performance, and the secrets people keep from those closest to them. Named President Obama's favorite book of 2015. Winner of the Indies Choice Book Award for Adult Fiction.
