About the Author
Laurie Ann Thompson is an American author of children's books and young adult literature, best known for her nonfiction works such as Emmanuel's Dream: The True Story of Emmanuel Ofosu Yeboah (2015), which won a 2016 Schneider Family Book Award, and Be a Changemaker: How to Start Something That Matters (2014), [lauriethompson.com].
