Elizabeth and After

Matthew Cohen (1942–1999) was a prolific Canadian author known for his novels, short stories, poetry, and children's books written under the pseudonym Teddy Jam. His most notable works include Elizabeth and After, which won the 1999 Governor General's Literary Award for Fiction, Emotional Arithmetic (adapted into a film), and The Spanish Doctor, alongside children's titles like Dr. Kiss that also earned a Governor General's Award.
