Alexander CheeAmerican
Alexander Chee (born 1967) is an American fiction writer, poet, journalist, and professor known for his novels Edinburgh (2001) and The Queen of the Night (2016), as well as the essay collection How to Write an Autobiographical Novel (2018). His debut novel Edinburgh received the Asian American Writers Workshop Literary Award, Lambda Editor's Choice Prize, and Michener/Copernicus Fellowship Prize, and he has been awarded a Whiting Award, NEA Fellowship, Guggenheim Fellowship, and others.
