Dieu est né en exil

Vintilă Horia (1915-1992) was a Romanian novelist, poet, essayist, and diplomat born in Segarcea, Romania. He gained international acclaim for his novel God Was Born in Exile (1960), which won the Prix Goncourt, though he controversially declined the award amid allegations of fascist ties from his early career.
