Dead in the Water

Nancy Holder (born August 29, 1953) is an American author specializing in horror, fantasy, and science fiction, best known for her Buffy the Vampire Slayer tie-in novels, the New York Times bestselling Wicked series (co-authored with Debbie Viguié), and novels like Dead in the Water. She is a six-time Bram Stoker Award winner for works including the novel Dead in the Water (1994) and short stories such as "Lady Madonna" (1991), and received the Bram Stoker Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021, along with a Scribe Award and IAMTW Grand Master recognition Bram Stoker Awards, Nancy Holder site.
