Bruce Norris (born 1960) is an American playwright and actor best known for his Pulitzer Prize-winning play Clybourne Park (2011). Associated with Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Company, he transitioned from acting on Broadway and in films to writing acclaimed satirical works exploring race, class, and social issues, including Downstate and The Pain and the Itch. His plays have earned multiple awards, including the Tony and Olivier for Clybourne Park.
