Roger Grenier (1919-2017) was a French writer, journalist, and editor born in Caen, France. He participated in the French Resistance during WWII, worked at Combat with Albert Camus, covered post-war trials, and served as literary director at Éditions Gallimard for decades, editing authors like Camus and Faulkner.
