Children's Encyclopaedia

Bohumil Říha (1907–1987) was a Czech writer renowned for his children's books and historical novels. One of his most noted works, Children's Encyclopaedia (1959), has enjoyed a cult following since publication for its layered structure providing information at multiple reading levels.
