About the Author

Luke Kennard is a British poet and novelist. Named a Next Generation Poet by the Poetry Book Society in 2014, he has published seven poetry collections, including Cain, shortlisted for the International Dylan Thomas Prize, and Notes on the Sonnets, which won the Forward Prize for Best Collection in 2021. His debut novel, The Transition, was a BBC Radio 4 Book at Bedtime and was longlisted for the Desmond Elliott Prize. Read more →
