About the Author
Brad KesslerAmerican
Brad Kessler (born 1963) is an American novelist and nonfiction writer best known for his award-winning novel Birds in Fall, which earned the Dayton Literary Peace Prize, a Whiting Writer's Award, a Rome Prize, and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, and his memoir Goat Song about herding goats and cheesemaking. He studied at Wesleyan University, worked as a journalist and scriptwriter, and now teaches creative writing at Antioch University while running a goat farm in Vermont with his wife, photographer Dona Ann McAdams.
