Angela's Ashes: A Memoir

Frank McCourt (1930–2009) was an Irish-American memoirist who won the Pulitzer Prize for Biography or Autobiography and the National Book Critics Circle Award for his debut book Angela's Ashes (1996), a tragicomic account of his impoverished childhood in Limerick, Ireland.
