Alabama Song

Gilles Leroy is a French novelist born on December 28, 1958, in Bagneux, Hauts-de-Seine, best known for his novel Alabama Song, which won the prestigious Prix Goncourt in 2007. Other notable works include Machines à sous (Prix Valery Larbaud 1999), Grandir (Prix Millepages and Prix Cabourg 2004), and Zola Jackson (Prix Eté du Livre 2010).
