About the Author

William Brodrick (born 31 January 1960) is a British novelist who was formerly an Augustinian friar and barrister. His debut novel, The Sixth Lamentation (1999), was selected for the Richard and Judy Book Club, launching the Father Anselm crime series, for which he won the Crime Writers' Association Gold Dagger in 2009 for A Whispered Name.
