About William Rose Benét

William Rose Benét (1886–1950) was an American poet, writer, and editor, best known for founding and editing the Saturday Review of Literature from 1924 until his death and authoring The Reader's. He won the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1942 for his autobiographical verse collection The Dust Which Is God and was the older brother of Pulitzer-winning poet Stephen Vincent Benét.
