About William Butler Yeats

William Butler Yeats (1865-1939) was an Irish poet, dramatist, and prose writer, born in Dublin, Ireland. A driving force behind the Irish Literary Revival, he co-founded the Abbey Theatre and won the 1923 Nobel Prize in Literature for his inspired poetry expressing the spirit of Ireland.
