About William Bronk
William Bronk (1918–1999) was an American poet born in Fort Edward, New York, who graduated from Dartmouth College and briefly studied at Harvard. A World War II veteran, he managed the family coal and lumber business in Hudson Falls for over 30 years while writing poetry longhand amid daily work, publishing numerous collections including the National Book Award-winning Life Supports (1981).
