About Vittorio Gorresio

Vittorio Gorresio (1910–1982) was an Italian journalist, commentator, editor, and essayist born in Modena. He began his career in the 1930s with publications like Il Messaggero, reporting from Abyssinia and WWII hotspots, and post-war contributed to Risorgimento Liberale, L'Europeo, Il Mondo, and La Stampa as parliamentary diarist and Rome editorial director until 1976. Notable works include the Premio Strega-winning La vita ingenua (1980), Berlinguer (1976), and political essays like I carissimi nemici (1949) and Risorgimento scomunicato (1958) English Italian.
