About Tomás Salvador
Tomás Salvador Espeso (1921-1984) was a Spanish writer and journalist born in Villada, Palencia, who moved to Madrid as a child and later served in the División Azul during World War II, becoming deaf from injuries. He worked as a police inspector in Barcelona while beginning his literary career in 1950, authoring over 40 books including police novels featuring Luis and Sisa, humor collections with the character Manolo, historical novels, and pioneering Spanish science fiction like La nave (1959).
