Tom Zoellner (born 1968) is an American author, journalist, and professor of English at Chapman University. Chapman University. He has written nine nonfiction books, including the award-winning Island on Fire: The Revolt That Ended Slavery in the British Empire (2020, National Book Critics Circle Award winner), Uranium (2009), The Heartless Stone (2006), and Rim to River (2023).
