About Tobias Wolff

Tobias Jonathan Ansell Wolff (born June 19, 1945) is an American short story writer, memoirist, novelist, and creative writing professor. He is best known for his memoirs This Boy's Life (1989), adapted into a film, and In Pharaoh's Army (1994), along with short story collections and the PEN/Faulkner-winning novella The Barracks Thief (1984); he received the National Medal of Arts in 2015.Tobias Wolff
