About Tim Powers
Timothy Thomas Powers (born February 29, 1952) is an American author known for his science fiction and fantasy novels that blend historical events with supernatural elements, often termed "secret histories." Notable works include The Anubis Gates (1983, Philip K. Dick Award winner), Last Call (1992, World Fantasy Award), and Declare (2001, World Fantasy Award). He earned a B.A. in English from Cal State Fullerton in 1976 and has lived in California since childhood.
