About Tim Lott

Tim Lott is a British author born on January 23, 1956, in Southall, West London. He began his career as a music journalist, launching Flexipop magazine, editing City Limits, and working as a TV producer before publishing his debut memoir The Scent of Dried Roses (1996), which won the PEN/Ackerley Prize, and his first novel White City Blue (1999), winner of the Whitbread First Novel Award. Other notable works include Rumours of a Hurricane (shortlisted for Whitbread Novel Award), young adult novel Fearless, and recent titles like When We Were Rich and Yes! No!
