About Thomas L. Friedman

Thomas Loren Friedman (born July 20, 1953) is an American journalist, author, and three-time Pulitzer Prize winner (1983, 1988, 2002) for his reporting on the Middle East and commentary on global terrorism. He has been a foreign affairs columnist for The New York Times since 1995, following roles as Beirut and Jerusalem bureau chief. Notable works include the bestselling books From Beirut to Jerusalem (1989 National Book Award winner), The World Is Flat (2005), and Thank You for Being Late (2016) NYT Bio.
