Thomas Kiernan (1933–2003) was an American biographer born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who authored numerous works on celebrities, literary figures, political leaders, and others, including The Intricate Music on John Steinbeck, Sir Larry on Laurence Olivier, Jane Fonda: Heroine for Our Time, Citizen Murdoch, and The Roman Polanski Story.
