Thomas F. Monteleone (1946-2023) was an American author of science fiction and horror, beginning his professional writing career in 1972 after working as a psychotherapist. Dance. He is best known for his Bram Stoker Award-winning novel The Blood of the Lamb, a New York Times Notable Book, and editing the acclaimed Borderlands anthology series with his wife Elizabeth. Press. A five-time Bram Stoker Award winner including for Lifetime Achievement (later revoked), he published over 36 books, more than 100 short stories, and scripts for TV shows like Tales from the Darkside.
