About Terri Windling
Terri Windling (born 1958) is an American author, editor, artist, and essayist specializing in mythic fiction, fairy tales, and urban fantasy. She has edited over 30 anthologies, including the 16-volume Year's Best Fantasy and Horror series with Ellen Datlow, and created the Fairy Tale Series of novels; her novel The Wood Wife (1996) won the Mythopoeic Award. A key figure in the fantasy resurgence of the 1980s, she has received nine World Fantasy Awards, the Bram Stoker Award, and the SFWA Solstice Award, and founded the Endicott Studio for myth-inspired arts.
