About Tatjana Soli

Tatjana Soli is an American novelist and short-story writer born in Salzburg, Austria, who moved to the US as a child, graduated from Stanford University, and earned an MFA from Warren Wilson College. Her debut novel, The Lotus Eaters (2010), a New York Times bestseller about a female photojournalist in Vietnam, won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize and was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize.
