About Suzannah Dunn
Suzannah Dunn is a British author born in 1963 in London, England. She began her career writing contemporary novels and short stories, winning a Betty Trask Award for Quite Contrary in 1991, before transitioning to historical fiction with The Queen of Subtleties in 2004. Notable works include The Confession of Katherine Howard, a Richard & Judy pick, The Sixth Wife, and her recent novel Levitation for Beginners, shortlisted for the Nero Book Awards in 2024. She holds an MA from the University of East Anglia and served as Director of the MA in Novel Writing at the University of Manchester from 1999-2005.
