About Susan Wiggs

Susan Wiggs (born May 17, 1958) is an American author who began writing as a child, self-publishing her first novel at age eight, but pursued teaching after Harvard before resuming in 1983. Her debut Texas Wildflower was published in 1987, leading her to write full-time from 1992, producing historical and contemporary romances like the Lakeshore Chronicles and Bella Vista Chronicles, as well as women's fiction. She has won multiple RITA Awards, including for Lord of the Night (1993), The Charm School (2000), The Mistress (2001), and Lakeside Cottage (2006), and her books are international bestsellers.com
