Stephen Walker

Stephen Walker is a British author and filmmaker educated at Oxford University and Harvard University. He has directed or produced around 30 films, winning a BAFTA, an Emmy, and two Rose d'Or awards, and was twice voted among the top 10 UK directors by Broadcast magazine. His notable nonfiction books include King of Cannes (1999), Shockwave: Countdown to Hiroshima (2005), and Beyond: The Astonishing Story of the First Human to Leave Our Planet and Journey Into Space (2021).
