Sonya Louise Hartnett (born 23 March 1968 in Melbourne, Australia) is an Australian author of fiction for adults, young adults, and children, who published her first novel Trouble All the Way at age 15 in 1984. She has won major awards including the 2008 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award for her career contribution to children's and young adult literature and the 2002 Guardian Children's Fiction Prize for Thursday's Child.Sonya Hartnett
