About Seymour M. Hersh

Seymour Myron Hersh (born 1937) is an American investigative journalist and author. He rose to fame in 1969 by exposing the My Lai massacre during the Vietnam War, earning the 1970 Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting, and later reported on Watergate, CIA abuses, and Abu Ghraib torture. Notable works include The Price of Power: Kissinger in the Nixon White House (1983) and Reporter (2018), with five George Polk Awards among his honors.
